Frequently Asked Questions
Who can join?
As a member of APSS you will join a large community working together on a common goal. You will learn new skills, have new experiences, and accomplish new things. Many past members are still heavily engaged in the community whether they are now industry experts, startup founders, or working in academia.
I don’t know anything about satellites. Can I still join?
Of course! While you may not know anything about space in particular you may have transferable knowledge such as software development skills, social media management experience, or be excellent at managing a budget.
What do I need to study?
We welcome students from every faculty, major, and specialisation!
How much time does APSS take?
Members are expected to contribute at least 5 hours a week. The more time you invest into the programme, the more you will get out of it.
